(Sold) The Fisherman’s Rest is a real well-appointed village house which belonged to an old fisher called João; we restored it for you, your family and your friends and it is now pleasantly up-to-date.

Accomodation and facilities

The Fisherman’s Rest has a ground floor, a first floor and a huge upper terrace.
 All in all, in terms of accommodation, four double guest houses and two bathrooms with bathtub and toilet.

The Fisherman’s Rest offers you three renting choices:

• The whole house (available for 4 x 2 p. max.)
• One or more separate rooms, and the respective common areas on that floor
• The groundfloor as a two rooms / one bathroom appartment

Every room benefits from its own decoration and from a reference color which gives her a name:

Areas accessible to guests

By renting the complete house you will have access to all that it offers: huge terrace with water source (hot/cold) + BBQ, four double rooms, two bathrooms + WC, a kitchen, a living room.
You can also access the facilities offered by the municipality on the front square.

If you rent one or two rooms on the 1st floor, you will have access to a bathroom of floor as well as to the upper terrace.

We are easily available as we live 5’ away from the Fisherman’s Rest.

The area

You stay at the heart of the village, in the front line, with an exceptional sight on the fishing port and the channel, In front of the fishers’ wooden huts as well as the ramp of access for the small boats.

You’ll be meeting the sunrise every morning just in front of the house, before seeing it again in the afternoon.

The Fisherman’s Rest looks onto a vast square where sometimes, you’ll take advantage of one or the other small local market. The immediate neighborhood is made by small living houses.

At the same time you are very close to the lagoon and the multiple bars and restaurants of any categories.

It is also for you the starting point towards the famous beaches (Praia do Barril and its small touristic train, Ilha Estreita and its scheduled service of boats) you can easily join by walk.

Also you can go on foot, in bike or by car in the charming neighboring town of Tavira as well as to another beach called Ilha de Tavira (public boat).

Transports

You can fly to Faro Airport (< 40 km). From Faro: if you do not hire a car, go to the central station area where you can either take a train (CP) or a intercity bus (EVA, Renex) to Tavira.

From Seville (<180 km), you can either rent a car or take a bus to Tavira.

If you come by car to The Fisherman’s Rest, you can choose between the road EN125 or the toll motorway A22 (exit Tavira).
